Representing more than 30 years of work, this retrospective exhibition includes over 50 sculptures and drawings by this accomplished Chicago artist. Simpson's work is often inspired by historical dress from various cultures and eras, at times incorporating references from architecture and sculpture. With distinct changes in scale and materials, her contemporary sculptures engage viewers with abstract depictions of the body, shelter, and protection. The formal elegance of her construction is mirrored in her drawings, which also reveal her creative process.

Partly Cloudy today, lookin' good for the revamp. Sun is out in Berkeley, don't know if it's reached JH Plaza yet (lurching at the speed of zombies across the Bay)

What happened? It was a gorgeous day and I didnt see *any* zombies!

Humanman42

I was there! What happened! We called 3 people and two of them said it was moved to tmrw at 7... and this is the page we told them to look at, and this one still says the 17th. We met up with 3 other zombies and walked around for a while. We got some food, all vegetarian but me. haha. I think we are going tmrw to see if there was any truthiness in what they spoke.

BRAINS FOREVER!

Maybe I didn't get the memo about the re-re-schedule. I'm not a zombie so I just relay info that I receive.
Tomorrow (sunday) getting there might be difficult with the bike race going on http://www.amgentourofcalifornia.com/
