DJ Rae at Shiro. This Saturday Bacardi presents singer songwriter DJ vocalist Rae, a rare talent combining dance and electronica with cool soulful chill out for the exclusive Ministry of Sound tour to Shiro in Mumbai. In 2008 Rae hooked up with Ministry of Sound and has been the only female DJ vocalist to represent their brand housexy on their UK and International tour. Her quirky acoustic style mesmerizes the dance floor at every tour night. Her style is identified as a chilled out and feel acoustic music to moody big beats with attitude. Rae Singer/Songwriter/DJ Rae's voice graced the house scene in 2008 with her first release Cant Stop. The Collaboration with Kings of Tomorrow/Sandy Rivera was picked up by Defected and went on to be a firm house classic that summer. Fast becoming an artist in demand she has been writing and recording non-stop since and is sure creating a strong buzz throughout dance world. Rising at a fast pace, Rae's live performances are a unique experience. She has an infectious vibe as a DJ with energetic peaky house sets combined with her potent vocals. This year we saw the second release on Defected with ATFC. 'Give me Luv' proving to be another club land smash, and then 'Persuasion'. Rae wrote this song last year and with Sandy's production the magic of this collaboration has hit crowds all over the world. Released on Blackwiz and quickly supported by Pete Tong on Radio 1 Persuasion is tipped to be big this year. The video gives us a taste of Rae's cool persona and compliments the beauty of the song.
