Dog and Puppy Training Classes Winter 2009

Along with winter comes the holiday season. Don’t be embarrassed by an unruly pup during the holidays! This round of training classes is just in time to prepare you and your pooch for this busy time of year. All proceeds go to help homeless animals!

Each training class will be held for one hour each Saturday at the times listed below. Scholarships available for adult pit bulls and pit mixes!

Puppy Training (For dogs under 6 months)
Get your puppy off to a great start in life by teaching them good puppy manners and providing them opportunities to socialize with other puppies! Common puppy issues will be addressed. Cost is $100 per dog or $75 if you adopted from SCCA. Saturdays at 9:00 am, October 31st – November 21st

Adult Basic Training Level 1 (for dogs over 6 months old)
This class features dog manners, basic commands and social time. The doggy “teen” months are the time when many behavior problems can arise. Keep your dog well socialized by enrolling in a class. Cost is $100 per dog or $75 if you adopted from SCCA. Saturdays at 10:15 am, October 31st – November 21st

Adult Basic Training Level 2 (must complete Puppy or Adult Level 1 Class prior to enrolling in this class)
Class focuses on adding distractions and time expectations to the behaviors learned in the Puppy or Adult Level 1 class. Class will focus on preparation for the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test, which will be offered as an option on the last day of class. This is a great class if you are planning to turn your pup into a therapy dog, or if you just want your dog to be the best he can be! Cost is $100 per dog or $75 if you adopted from SCCA. Saturdays at 11:30 am, October 31st – November 21st
