This Drug & Alcohol Awareness Program will discuss the effects of alcohol and drug use on children, and is designed to provide information on what happens when a child/teenager/adult chooses to use “wet or dry” drugs.
The program is presented by NCADD (National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence).
The presentation will include:
• Discussion of “wet and dry” drugs
• Prescription drug use
• Effects of drugs and alcohol
• Problems drugs and alcohol can cause
• Resources available
• Deterrents for drug and alcohol use
• Community and parental involvement
