Eagle Rock Block Party June 13, 2009

Stimulate our local economy one neighborhood at a time!!

The Eagle Rock Block Party happens monthly, every 2nd Saturday, comprised of our local independent businesses offering special promotions, discounts, and entertainment for kids and adults. We are kicking off the first Block Party this Saturday, June 13th.

The Eagle Rock Block Party coincides with the NELA Artwalk, but starts during the day so that families can enjoy the celebration and events too! The participating businesses will hang illuminated Eagle Rock Block Party lanterns, so keep an eye out for them and be sure to go inside and see what kind of promotion they are offering. The Eagle Rock Block Party is about creating local stimulus and reinforcing community spirit so that small town walking areas remain a part of the Los Angeles experience. Drive/Walk through Eagle Rock and look for the Eagle Rock Block Party Lanterns to see what businesses are participating with special promotions, events, and discounts! Start at the corner of Eagle Rock Blvd. & Colorado Blvd and pick up a map in any participating store.
