Early Bird Hikes November 28, 2009

Start your day off right by joining us on a morning stroll through a variety of habitats as we seek out the birds of the 46 acre preserve. Participants should bring their own binoculars. Red Headed Woodpeckers, Gold Finches, and Towhees are among the most commonly encountered avians, but we have occasionally spotted less commonly seen birds such as Green Herons, Whippoorwills, Pileated Woodpeckers, and Long Eared Owls.
