ECO Kids Discovery Days: Seeing Green February 19, 2011

Bernheim's Every Child Outside (ECO Kids) Initiative makes being outside fun, adventurous, challenging, and full of exploration. Not all plants drop leaves and turn brown during winter. Look close and you will discover a jungle of green moss, lichen, and coniferous trees thriving in the landscape! Kids and their families will search for green plants through the On-Your-Own Challenge, available in the Visitor Center from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Discovery Stations, available at the Visitor Center from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
