Enjoy the Birds of Spring May 16, 2010

This workshop will focus on identifying birds by sight and sound. We will walk through a variety of habitats in the sanctuary during the height of spring migration, stopping to enjoy both resident songbirds and tropical migrants as they feed and sing. We may encounter as many as fifty different species, including Scarlet Tanagers, and Baltimore Orioles, and several species of warbler. Bring a pair of binoculars if you have one.
