Equality Inland Empire presents: Unity Forum Fath,Race,and Human Rights May 15, 2009

An important event will be taking place on Friday May 15th.
Equality Inland Empire and the University of Redlands Pride Alliance will be holding a town hall style forum on the status of LGBT civil rights. The focus will be on life in the Inland Empire, and our broader connectedness to the state and national movement.
Geoff Kors, executive director of Equality California (and recent ranking as one of the most influential political leaders in CA), will be speaking. Geoff will be bringing an additional national speaker, to be announced.
Local leaders and speakers will include:
Rev. Elder Benita Ramsey- Inspirational leader in the UFCC
Robert Armenta Jr.- Local school board member
Rev. John Walsh- U of R chaplain and powrful ally to faith based groups.
Prior to the town hall forum we will be holding a networking tabling session. Come and see what is happening -socially and politically- in the Inland Empire. More than 20 organizations and groups will be represented.
We will also be opening the speaking portion with a video montage on our life in the Inland Empire.
