Esperanza Spalding has forged an impressive and varied career as a bassist, singer and composer. Since relocating to the East Coast from Portland, Oregon, the Berklee graduate has worked with Michel Camilo, Dave Samuels, Regina Carter, Joe Lovano and Patti Austin. Her latest release is titled, 'Esperanza.'
