Ethel Chop, a forthright if somewhat ghastly senior citizen who Australia has reluctantly come to love, expresses her distaste with young people and anything else really, that takes her fancy. For example:

Courtesy: “When we were young if you were rude to an old person you were thrashed to within an inch of your life with a lamb shank, then forced to drink castor oil until your bowels exploded. That soon taught you some respect.”

Nudity: “The only time young people should get nude is if they’ve had all their clothes blown off from stepping on a landmine”.
