Evans Rubara Speaks about Injustices in Tanzanian Gold Mines December 10, 2008

Public Lecture and Film Screening by Tanzanian Journalist Evans Rubara, McCarthy Recital Hall, 7 pm

Evans Rubara, Independent Tanzanian Journalist and Communications Director for Norwegian Church Aid, will speak on Human Rights and the Tanzanian Mining Industry and show the documentary film, “The Golden Opportunity” (30 minutes)

In addition, members of the Saint Michael’s College and surrounding community are invited to speak with Evans in an Open Class, Truth and Propaganda, 1-2:40 pm Bergeron Center, Room 113.
