PremaSoul infuses the HEART of Indian music with the SOUL of American music. PremaSoul brings their sacred Indian and soulful American sound from Los Angeles to the StarHouse on June 25th. Integrating Indian chants and mantras with jazz, blues, and R & B, the music of PremaSoul echoes authentic tradition and resonates into the present.
Led by Colorado-born, Indian musician Sheela Bringi (vocals, harmonium, bansuri flute) and jazz trumpeter Clinton Patterson, the duo will play with special guests Carter Wallace on upright bass, Trevor Anderies on drums, and Boulder's own Steve Bross on tabla.
