#evfn is a weekly social gathering organized primarily over Twitter. It stands for East Valley Friday Nights and yes, you are invited.
The crew last week decided to keep it up north for a while (to celebrate Xmas? More like Boxing Day), so we're doing it at Carlsbad Tavern. I assume they have good beer. And I assume that bats will come flying out in formation on cue.
OH! And Evo's mom (Vickie1948) is coming! So you'll get to see just why he's as screwed up as he is. He even writes about himself in the third person.

I love all those great Lynyrd Skynyrd hits! Jimmie Van Zant and his band are awesome!

dont get me wrong,i think that van zant,lynyrd skynyrd,and 38 special are all good band,but how about something different for a change like ronnie dio,alice cooper,kiss,i noticed that the bands that are going to be there are all what people call SOUTHERN ROCK bands,well you know the INDEPENDENCE HOILDAY will be here very soon,so how about not only having bands that stand for the south but all of the united states.

Jimmie Van Zant is a great performer! I saw him and his band here a couple years ago. There were over 4,000 people out there and it was one the best shows I've ever seen.
