The St. Louis Chapter Women's Caucus for Art is a local chapter of the National Women's Caucus for Art. The Women's Caucus for Art was founded in 1972 in connection with the College Art Association (CAA). It is a national organization unique in its multi-disciplinary, multicultural membership of artists, art historians, students, educators, museum professionals and galleries in the visual arts. The role of WCA is to serve as an intersection for both market and historical forces with its emphasis being on women working in the visual arts professions today. Juror Yolanda Lopez is an American artist-scholar, painter, printmaker, educator, and film producer.
