Exhibition - Fusion: Science and Art January 9, 2010

An artist thinks like a scientist; experimenting and manipulating elements to create the perfect visual chemistry. Artists closely examine and observe the world around them to give the world new meanings, ideas, and classifications. Scientists, in turn, think like an artist in using creative thinking measures to attain their conclusions. Therefore, the natural marriage of science and art will be celebrated in this exhibit. Juror Steve Miller has been working with art, science and technology, and molecular biology creating portraits and Vanitas still-lifes using the imaging techniques of medical science.
