It's a combination of factors that gives caving and mine exploring a special appeal. The beauty of underground formations such as stalactites, helictites and flowstone and underground watercourses in caves; the artefacts and handiwork of by-gone years in old mine workings; the sense of adventure in doing something enjoyable and unique with like-minded people...
Enter a whole new world and discover the world of caving. This full day is ideally suited to the complete beginner who would like to have a go at caving. During the day we will be exploring some easy to access caves giving you the perfect taster of the joys and sites to be seen underground. All essential equipment is provided along with expert tuition from local caving guides.

NB: Please note this event is weather dependant and in severe rain may well be postponed or cancelled.
