Fairfax Symphony Orchestra: Golden Gala 50th Anniversary Concert June 2, 2007

Scored for double brass section with two sets of timpani, the majestic fanfare that Richard Strauss composed for the Vienna Philharmonic launches the FSO's Golden Anniversary concert. The electrifying young cellist Zuill Bailey will place his own stamp on Dvorak's masterpiece, the Cello Concerto in B Minor.
