Why do leaves turn color? What happens to birds as the air turns cool? If turtles can't fly south, where do they go in the winter? We'll explore the fields and forests of Drumlin Farm as autumn leaves turn gold and red. We'll check out how thick the wool is on the sheep - will they be warm enough this winter? What do the chickens do when the weather turns colder? Each week we will visit someplace different to enhance our understanding of the natural world and share ideas and activities that we can take home to our own backyards. - - All ages welcome, though oldest child must be at least 2 years old.
