ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Jay and Thorsten are good friends who have the same vision; high quality photography using whatever means available to them. Thorsten and Jay have decided to mix their blend of photography, the Glamour of Jay and Fashion of Thorsten, and the Playboy Model status of Ms. Jessica Robinson to give you this AMAZING workshop!

This is NOT a seminar - it is a shooting workshop! Bring your camera and plenty of memory cards and or film. We will go over basic to advanced lighting, posing and model interaction. The workshop will start at Noon SHARP, you'll be shooting a lot and learning more!
This is NOT an "Intro to photography" workshop, please have a working knowledge of your camera and it's conditions. Thorsten and Jay will take no time out of the schedule, to explain this to you. You will need a DSLR camera, or a camera that has a hot shoe flash terminal. If you have a pro-sumer grade DSLR (Canon Digital Rebel series/Nikon D40/D90 series) please have a pc sync terminal. These terminals can be purchased via our Sponsor Englewood Camera.

And many others. This read headed all natural beauty will knock your socks off by her beauty and willing to pose and please. I've spoken with several of her photographers and they all offer up the fact that she's amazing. We are proud to have her out as a model!

Jay has perfected his lighting style and more so, perfected his photography teaching style. This means not only will you get a lot of great images, you'll learn a lot. Everyone, from the newly purchased dslr user to the advanced pro, everyone is assured to learn something.

Thorsten is a Fashion photography GOD and the master of "cheap" lighting. Thorsten is most known for his AMAZING videos as well as his top notch fashion and glamour photography. Thorsten's uncanny ability to give great attention to detail and ensure great results is second to none. Thorsten will handle shooting nude models as you would a fashion spread. Thorsten is a TRUE FASHION Photographer, so you will learn a TON from him.

The workshop will start at 12:00pm and end around 8pm.

There will be up to 2 "live" shooting stations setup as we will have a second model as well..

Things covered at the workshop:

Glamour: The basis of Playboy style nude photography is glamour photography. Glamour photography is best known for being FHM up to and including Playboy Style Nudes. This workshop will teach you how to get out of your comfort zone, your studio zone and into something that's more accepted for magazine submits. We will use a variety of lighting techniques up to and including advanced lighting. There's only one photog in this state that has multiple FHM/Maxim online publishing's, why not learn directly from him?

Fashion: The one thing that sets the various styles of photography apart is the poses. Thorsten is bring his 20+ years of posing and lighting to the stage and you will learn from one of the best. How to get the contorted poses, the natural looks. The jaw dropping Vogue styling that only a fashion photographer can give you. Thorsten isn't a pseudo-fashion photographer. Not one to take a 5'1 model, put a fan on her and call it fashion, Thorsten is a true fashion photography master!

Photoshop: Jay and Thorsten will go over some general photoshop tips and how to enhance your photos.

POSING! Jay and Thorsten will discuss in great detail, posing of models. Everything from the hand positioning to legs, head and various other limbs.

The workshop will be broken down into groups. When you're not shooting Jess, you'll be shooting the second model. When Jess is in the Glamour area, Thorsten will be teaching Fashion to and vice versa when Jess is in the Fashion area. There will be NO SHOOTING when you're up to shoot the model. Jay and Thorsten will be roving around helping with posing and lighting. Although we know you may want to bring your own strobes and lights to the shoot, unless ok' d by Jay, please leave them at home. This is to make sure you get the most you can out of the shoot.
