Come celebrate French culture in the format of a festival. Grand Valley State University has teamed up with Calvin College, Grand Rapids Community College, Aquinas College and local and regional sponsors to bring the sights, sounds and tastes of French Culture to the Grand Rapids community. The Festival is free to students and staff of the participating colleges. Admission for all other students is $5 with ID, adults $10 and children under 12 are free. Admission includes:
French food, desserts and cheeses, a wine tasting, chocolate tasting, film screenings of a recently released French film, café cart offering coffee beverages and tea, live music with accordionist Wally Corvine, a French Marketplace where guests can purchase French inspired products, a silent auction with proceeds going to GVSU’s “Nice, France” Scholarship, and a French workshop.
