Fiddler on the Roof March 8, 2007

This is the classic musical by Joseph Stein, adapted from the stories of Sholom Aleichem, with lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and music by Jerry Bock. Set in the village of Anatevka, Russia in 1904, the story focuses on a dairyman named Tevya, his five daughters and the love triangles in which they are all involved. As Tevya tries to deal with his family's difficulties, the village is threatened both by Cossack raiders and the Russian government.
