Fiesta Mexico October 4, 2008

Who: In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15-October 15, The Gavilan Theatre Arts Department and Vallesano Association for the Performing Arts (VAPA) proudly presents Fiesta Mexico, a spectacular journey through music, song and dance on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Gavilan College Theatre.

What: Fiesta Mexico, an elaborate production of Mexico’s vibrant dances and lively music, features a cast of over 50 dancers, singers and musicians with lavish costumes and a richness of a fabulous culture. Artists include the unique Ballet Folklorico Mexicano Fuego Nuevo and the musical ensemble of Los Combancheros from San Jose, California and direct from Phoenix Arizona the youthful and sensational roping artist, Anthony Reynoso Jr.

Fiesta Mexico is proud to support the Gavilan College Theatre Arts Department. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Theatre Arts Department drama club TADA, under the direction of Dr. John L. Haehl.
