Fifth Third Bank and United Way Host the eBus February 11, 2013

Fifth Third Bank has teamed up with United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades County to bring local residents the eBus – a vehicle that has been electronically retrofitted to serve as a mobile classroom, complete with computers and internet. Also called Fifth Third Bank’s Financial Empowerment Mobile, the eBus allows visitors to not only receive one-on-one credit counseling, money management and homeownership advice, but also free tax preparation for those who qualify.

In addition to regular financial empowerment services offered at the eBus, United Way will offer free tax preparation by certified volunteers for qualifying households. The nonprofit is hosting nine Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites throughout the area.
