Film & Romance January 30, 2010

The Spartanburg Philharmonic Orchestra along with Sarah Ioannides, Music Director, presents to you ‘Film & Romance’. This concert is sponsored by Kurt and Nelly Zimmerli. This concert includes Mendelssohn’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream: Overture’, Brahms ‘Symphony No. 4”, and Marianelli’s ‘Atonement Suite, Music from the Academy Award winning best original score!” featuring Dario Marianelli on piano. The concert will be held on January 30, 2010 at 7:00pm in Twichell Auditorium (on the campus of Converse College in Spartanburg, SC).
Along with the concert, you can meet the composer, Dario Marianelli in person at our Chats on the Classics, which will be held in the Lawson Academy of the Arts Recital Hall at 6:15 pm.
