First American State Bank Fitness Festival September 8, 2012

Where can you meet world-renowned snowboarder and Olympian Chris Klug, run a 5K, pick up some swag from the 2012 Olympics and nosh on some of the best food in town?

The 12th Annual First American State Bank Fitness Festival on September 8 has it all!

The Fitness Festival includes Olympic medalist Chris Klug acting as Grand Marshal, emceeing and mingling with participants, a silent auction with top-notch items, the Rocky Vista University 5K run/walk, 1K Kaiser Permanente Fitness Walk, followed by the “Best After Party in Town” with top restaurants dolling out succulent treats to participants.

Held at Crescent Park in Greenwood Village to benefit the Community Asset Project (CAP), a partner of the Cherry Creek School District. During the past 11 years, the event has raised and donated more than $765,000 to CAP to encourage positive alternative behaviors for students in the Cherry Creek School District.
