First Fridays Event Announced
Wheeling, WV – A new event is announced for Downtown and Centre Wheeling!
Starting February 6th, everyone in the Ohio Valley is invited to visit Downtown and Centre Wheeling the First Friday of every month from 4pm - 10pm. It’s a great way to Experience Wheeling. Visit a business you’ve never heard of, eat somewhere you’ve never been, catch a play at the Independent Theatre Collective or a movie at Towngate, browse one of the art galleries, or see a live band! The possibilities are endless!

There will be a FREE trolley shuttle from 14th & Main to 22nd and Market EVERY 45 MINUTES!
The City of Wheeling, the Wheeling Ohio-County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, Wheeling National Heritage Area Corporation, the Wheeling-Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Regional Economic Development Partnership partner for this unique event series with support from Oglebay Institute.
So who will be attending the First Fridays? Professionals, college students, singles, newlyweds, people with or without kids, people who work downtown, people aged 25-35, or sometimes people in their 40s, people in their 50s are welcome, musicians, artists, actors, hockey fans…anyone!
