The Monument Mountain MiC Youth Program will debut their brand new original song and music video as the featured event at this FODfest Free Community Concert. Other local area musicians will perform as well in the tradition of FODfest which brings together diverse groups of artists who are often meeting for the first time on stage. As always the power of music will bring us all together for an evening of food, friends and music, celebrating all that we have in common and all that makes us unique. FODfest began in 2005 as a backyard jam honoring the late journalist and musician Daniel Pearl who believed in the power of music to connect people. FODfest has since grown into an international concert tour bringing together musicians and audiences in concerts, events, and programs based on the resonating belief in music as a universal language. Musicians of all ages, backgrounds, and musical genres join together at FODfest concerts, often meeting for the first time on stage.
