Folk College With Simple Gifts May 24, 2009

Folk College is a fun and friendly weekend of playing and listening to folk music -- a fantastic three days of workshops, jam sessions, concerts, and group playing. The camp is designed for musicians with eclectic tastes. Within one weekend, participants will have a choice of workshops ranging from oldtime to Celtic to blues to international, and get to sing, dance, play, and listen. Musicians of all instruments and levels are welcome, and there are also choices for non-musicians who want to listen, learn, and experiment with folk music - including a beginners' sampler where absolute beginners can try fiddle, mandolin, dulcimer, guitar, and banjo.
