Macclesfield Forest Walk and Abseiling experience Date: Saturday 28th July 2012 Meeting Time: 11:00 Estimated Finish Time: 17:00 Walk Distance: 7 miles Walk Level: Beginners.
This day walk will take in the ancient Royal Hunting Ground that is Macclesfield Forest.
During the course of this day walk we will be heading through the woodlands, around Ridgegate Reservoir and then on to the top of Shutlingslow, which is often described as the 'Chesire Matterhorn' rising to 506m and offering stunning views acorss the Cheshire Plains.
The walk finished at Tegg's Nose Country park where we are hosting one of our abseiling events and you will be able to challenge yourself to abseil down an 80ft quarry face.
