Formosa Quartet - Quintet of Quartets I June 28, 2007

Winner of the First Prize and Amadeus Prize at the Tenth London International String Quartet Competition in 2006, the Formosa Quartet makes its Caramoor debut as the first quartet in the Quintet of Quartets series. Hailed as "One of the best quartets of this generation," come hear a stellar young quartet on the rise. Program includes Debussy's Quartet in G Minor, op. 10, Chen's Mei Hua for String Quartet (World Premiere of a Caramoor Commission), and Brahms Quartet in B-Flat Major, op. 67.
