FREE ADMISSION WEEKEND for Sarasota County Residents May 1, 2009

Historic Spanish Point will be offering Sarasota County residents the opportunity to tour the 30-acre National Register site for FREE on Saturday and Sunday, May 2 - 3, 2009. No admission will be charged to tour the archaeological, historical and environmental indoor/outdoor museum.
This program is sponsored in part by Sarasota County and will allow the public the chance to learn more about the rich cultural heritage offered by Historic Spanish Point, a museum accredited by the American Association of Museums.
Proof of residency required. Hours: Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday noon to 5pm. (No tickets are given after 4pm.) Visit www.historicspanishpoint.org for more information.
