FREE Civil War talk! Rebels invade West Manchester Township November 16, 2009

The West Manchester Township Historical Society presents Civil War historian and speaker Scott L. Mingus, Sr., who will deliver an informative talk on the Confederate army's invasion of York County in the summer of 1863 during the Gettysburg Campaign. He will focus on West Manchester Township in York County, PA, and will present stories and anecdotes from the citizens and the Southern soldiers.

The public is invited!

Light refreshments will be served following the talk, and Mr. Mingus will be available to autograph his six books on the Civil War.
