FREE Womens Assault and Rape Prevention Seminar and Clinic April 9, 2011

Absolute Self Defense will host a 4 hour Women’s self-defense class, Saturday; April 9th. The class will be held from 10:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. . . . The course will be held at Absolute Self Defense in Killeen; 5902-A East Veterans Memorial Blvd. There is no cost to attend the class. The course is a comprehensive women-only course that promotes realistic self-defense tactics and techniques. Aware...ness, prevention, risk-reduction, and risk-avoidance techniques progress to basics in practical reality based self protection techniques for themselves and family.

The April 2011 Sexual Assault Awareness Month seminar focuses on prevention of sexual violence in our neighborhoods, communities, workplaces and schools. The 2011 national Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) campaign explores common, everyday behaviors and offers individuals viable, responsible ways to intervene. This primary prevention approach helps to create environments where people are safe in their relationships, families, neighborhoods, schools, work places and communities.
