Fright fest is horrible this year. Charging $5.00 a person for the hayride ???? I hear it hasn't changed so certainly not worth it. And if its because of gas prices....I'm thinking $1.00 a person would be more appropriate. I heard people who rode it saying it was a huge rip off. Terror Train has reached a new low.

Fright Fest used to be my son's favorite time at six flags. He is only 8 !! He was bored out of his mind. We went to the palace show....pathetic rewrite. Best thing going there was the talent in the girl who played "Katie". (She would go far in American Idol)

I was very dissapointed. I overheard someone talking about how they get passes and everything out there is getting ridiculous...but they get their passes because two visits pay for it. I talked to a supervisor this summer...and basically...they think they are doing great because of all the season pass sales. If everyone would protest what they have done out there...and not buy passes for one summer. We might get a hint of the old six flags st. louis back !!! (did anyone see the goofy movies in palace this summer ??? Bring back the live shows like were 10- 15 years ago . And where was the Miss Kitty's show this summer !?!?!? )

The show in Empire for kids is a cute show.... but.... the guy playing "dr. Strange"...as my husband said...whoever directs that and allows him to play that character that way should be fired. And lets not start on their bright idea to hand out goody bags before the show is over. They lose most of their audience because no one wants to sit around waiting.

And where was the side show guy on the palace porch ?? First they got rid of the guys from a couple of years ago that PACKED the palace theater....then they get rid of the guy on the palace porch that always had a huge crowd. What gives ??

All in all.... I give Fright fest 2008 one and a half thumbs down
