As we age or recover (or maybe just resume movement after an extended time), we find simple things hard to do (things like tying shoes, getting dressed, getting up and down off the floor, bending, lifting, etc.) We focus on these simple things and give you tools and techniques to help make them easier. You will be encouraged to try only what feels right and to discuss any issues or concerns you have. Since this is part demonstration, part participation, there will be plenty of rest breaks. The focus is on giving you the information you need to improve your Functional Fitness and to integrate it into your daily movements.
Rate and prioritize your fitness/wellness level, establish your goals, determine your progressions based on:
- Health/Wellness & Weight Concerns
- Function
- Balance
- Posture
- Endurance
- Flexibility
- Strength
