Fungi of the Forests Field Trip January 29, 2011

Chantarelles, morels, and deadly amanitas are only a few members of the mysterious local mushroom flora. Meet the mushrooms of the Santa Barbara region in a Friday evening lecture and a Saturday morning foray into Los Padres National Forest. Please bring examples of fungi for discussion at the lecture! (Note: Field trip will proceed only if winter rains yield a mushroom crop. Directions will be provided to participants.) Online registration available.
