Luke Silas (Nephews, Anamanaguchi, The Histories, etc) turned me onto Portland's Ghost to Falco a few weeks ago while in town for Blip Fest. After listening to some tunes that I found around the internet it'd be an understatement to say that I've become fond of these sounds, because my curiosity behind Eric Crespo's music has led to much more personal - rather than auditory - realizations of pleasure. Looming melodies grow haunting and dissonant just as simply as they form narrative structures for vacant sounds.
