Gallery Talks July 16, 2011

The Cloisters offers Gallery Talks for adults at noon and 2:00 p.m. every Saturday and on some first Sundays of the month, year-round. Museum curators, conservators, educators, independent scholars, and advanced students of art history regularly present Gallery Talks that focus on specific aspects of the collection, as well as on special exhibitions. Many topics are repeated over a two-month period. Gallery Talks focusing on the permanent collection meet in the Great Hall. Special exhibition talks begin in the exhibition's introductory gallery. All Gallery Talks depart promptly; if you arrive late, inquire at the Information Desk for directions to the tour's location.
