All classes taught by Gamm Education Director and Resident Actor Steve Kidd

Act 1: 3rd grade - 5th grade
Monday 10/18 - 12/20, 4-6pm
Every student in this introductory elementary class collaborates on
the creative process of developing an original or familiar story into
a live stage production - every cast member has both a speaking role
as well as the chance to contribute to the "backstage" elements of the
show with team projects to build community, social skills, literacy
and leadership.

Act 2: 6th grade - 8th grade
Tuesday 10/26 - 12/28, 4-6pm
This second level class is for middle school or junior high school
students interested in learning more about the craft of acting and
elements of performance. This acting workshop will challenge students with a series of acting exercises and guest directors all designed to build skills in character development, performance, auditioning and deep comprehension of language as we rehearse a scripted one act play for performance.

Act 3: 9th grade - 12th grade
Saturday 10/2 - 12/11, 10-1pm
All young actors participating in this advanced acting studio class
will explore the craft of creating a performance through basic
improvisation, monologue work and scene study. Text will range from
Shakespeare to contemporary playwrights to plays and pieces of our own creation. This class is for mature and dedicated students who want to bring their skills to the next level. A final scene study showcase will be presented for family and friends onstage at The Gamm Theatre.

Stay tuned for School Vacation Intensives offered during February and
