Ghost Bird (The Movie) February 12, 2011

Ijams presents a special screening of the 2009 documentary Ghost Bird by Scott Crocker. The highly acclaimed film looks out the recent rediscovery of the ivory-billed woodpecker in Arkansas and the impact it had on the people in the small town of Brinkly. Plus, Stephen Lyn Bales and Nancy Tanner will be on hand to talk about and sign copies of the book Ghost Birds that details the field research of her late husband Jim in the late 1930s.
