The Glass House Women's Photography Group hosts a one-night crash course in contemporary nude art with lecturer Christina Z. Anderson on January 26th from 5:45 to 7 PM. Christina will cover the nude as it appears historically and how these forms have influenced nude photography today. Be ready to hear suggestions on how to branch out creatively with the nude and avoid falling into stereotypical imagery. Ladies of all ages and skill levels are invited to join us This month's meeting is rated: Beginner.

Christina Z. Anderson is an Assistant Professor at Montana State University where she teaches experimental, alternative process, and non-fiction photography. She has published three books: Tutti Nudi, Reflections on the Reemergence of the Nude During the Italian Renaissance, The Experimental Photography Workbook, and Alternative Processes, Condensed. A book on gum bichromate is forthcoming. A local exhibit of Anderson's work will be viewable at the Zoot Gallery March through June.
