Glitz & Grits gala September 19, 2009

Exhibits, music, food and fun at Glitz & Grits , the every-other-year gala at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum in Shreveport, La. Proceeds will be used by the Friends of LSEM to bring nationally recognized cultural events and exhibits to the Museum and to the community. Glitz and Grits 2009 will also serve as the kick-off event for Shreveport Regional Arts Council’s Triumph Over Tragedy Great Depression Project.
Entertainment includes Grammy Nominee Buddy Flett and Friends and headliner and Grammy Nominee Hubert Sumlin. Catering will be by Cantina Laredo. Alison Foreman from A Piece of Cake is preparing an extraordinary dessert.
