Take this opportunity to meet and share thoughts and feelings about climate change, how it is affecting us now and how we can best respond to the challenge. This is a different kind of meeting. Rather than passively listening to experts, the Global Warming Cafe is an opportunity to draw on your experience, actively reflect with others in your community, and find ways with others to take practical steps forward.

Our goals for the Global Warming Cafes:
1) to help people express and share their feelings and ideas, both positive and negative about climate change;
2) to help people take personal action in one or more of three areas:
a) reducing carbon consumption,
b) promoting positive legislative and political change,
c) engaging in personal spiritual or creative transformation
3) to help people join or form neighborhood Eco-Teams of 6 to 10 people that will work together to take action on climate change, such as:
a) reducing household or neighbourhood energy consumption,
b) promoting legislative or political initiatives, and
c) joining with existing community groups to give a Global Warming Cafe.
4) to help people join and/or work with existing groups that are taking effective action in regard to climate change.
Donations welcome!
