Go Red Strut! February 14, 2012

WHO: Well-heeled San Franciscans will step out in red stilettos and participate in a fun strut to bring attention to heart disease and encourage women and their loved ones to make it their mission to fight their No. 1 killer. The Honorable Willie Brown will be one of the celebrity strutters as well as many more!
WHAT: The American Heart Association, in collaboration with Macy’s, the national sponsor of Go Red For Women, will host the first Go Red Strut! Great prizes are in store for winners.
WHEN: Tuesday, February 14, 2012, 11:30 am-1 pm
Union Square, San Francisco
WHY: Heart disease is still the No. 1 killer of women, taking the life of 1 in 3 women each year. The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement offers educational programs to advance women’s understanding of their risk for heart disease and provides tools and motivation to help women reduce their risk and live healthier, stronger lives. Go Red For Women also saves women’s lives with its funding of research.
