Goshen Farmers Market January 2, 2010

"Clay Bottom Farm is dedicated to providing top notch food to our community. We sell at the Goshen Farmers Market as well as through our own CSA. This year we are farming on our new 5 acre farm for the first season. We are learning how to work with heavy clay soil and also are listening to our farming neighbors who have plenty of knowlege about the area. We raise heirloom vegetables and have planted fruit trees for the future. We do not use conventional fertilizers or sprays on our produce. We rely on soil health and diversity to address pest and disease problems. To this end, we compost regularly and plant green cover crops over the winter season. Year round, Goshen Farmers Market, Saturday 8am-1pm (all year) Tuesday 3pm-7pm.
