Gospel by the Bay August 7, 2010

KDYA 1190 AM is proud to present Gospel by the Bay a FREE gospel concert on August 7, 2010 from Noon to 5p.m. The concert will be held at Service Club Park, 495 Mare Island Way in Vallejo, next to the Vallejo ferry building.

It’s safe to say that everyone, in some way, has been affected by the state of the economy. The challenges in Vallejo have been well documented. Gospel 1190 AM The Light, KDYA is trying to make things a little better, by putting together its 8th annual free gospel concert for the community. The “green” event sponsored by PG&E, California Mentor, and Michael’s Transportation, offers attendees’ great gospel music from some of the Bay Area’s top recording artists. Scheduled to perform are: Eugene Cole, East Oakland Faith Deliverance Center Choir, The Inspired Catholic Voices, Yvone Cobbs Bey, and many more. There will also be fun activities for children, prizes and giveaways, plus food, product, and service vendors. This is a great way to bring the community together and to support one another.
