The Grand Avenue Business Association and Saint Paul City Ballet’s The Enchanted Toy Shop – A New Holiday Ballet present Grand Meander on Saturday, December 5. This annual Grand Avenue event transports shoppers to an old-world, holiday shopping experience. Children enjoy hot cocoa, meet reindeer, sit on Santa’s lap and even see a penguin. Guests are invited to stroll the avenue, take advantage of holiday promotions and hop a ride on a trolley if shopping bags get too heavy. At 5 p.m., friends, family, and Saint Paul City Ballet dancers gather for a community tree lighting ceremony presented by HealthEast Grand Avenue Clinic at Charlemagne Fine Jewelry.
