Greater Tuna by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard
Ryan Roach and Chris Robinson reprise their roles from Flower Mound Performing Art's Theare's Award-Winning 2009 production.
What do Arles Struvie, Thurston Wheelis, Aunt Pearl, Petey Fisk, Phineas Blye and Rev. Spikes have in common? In this hilarious send-up of small town morals and mores, they are all among the upstanding citizens of Tuna, Texas' third smallest town. The long-running Off Broadway hit features two actors creating the entire population of Tuna in a tour de farce of quick change artistry, changing costumes and characterizations faster than a jack rabbit runs from a coyote. Two actors, twenty characters and a barrel of laughs, y'all.
"Flower Mound Performing Arts Theatre's production of Greater Tuna, starring and restaged by Chris Robinson and Ryan Roach, is easily the most side-splitting two hours spent in a theater in a very, very, very long time. Squared. If Sears and Williams are looking for a team to carry on their legacy-because c'mon, they can't keep it up forever-then their search is over. Roach and Robinson have to be the tastiest Tuna helpers." - Mark Lowry, TheaterJones.com
