Greek Food Festival and Entertainment May 6, 2010

Enjoy a taste of the Mediterranean by attending the 2010 Spring Greek Food Festival, hosted by the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 32 East Ross Street (near the Wilkes-Barre Post Office) in Wilkes-Barre from Thursday, May 6th to Saturday, May 8th from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. daily. An assortment of Greek food and pastries, including gyros, stuffed grape vine leaves, spinach pies, baklava, galaktoboureko, and others, will be available for eat-in or take-out purchases. Orders more than $30 will be delivered free within a 2 mile radius of the church. In addition, there will be entertainment including Greek dancing, videos, and music. Greek t-shirts will also be sold. People are welcome (but not required) to pre-order their food by calling (570) 823-4805 during festival hours or by ordering online at greekfoodfestival.webs.com .
